Music is funny at times, just think about it. There are songs that I loved the beat to but as I have grown older I now understand the words. Like George Michael’s song One More Try. I actually listened to the words today and I truly understand just how hurt he was. He wanted his lover to let him go because it hurt too much to stay together. Yet at the same time he wants one more try. Sometimes we get caught up in a loop. We get so comfortable that even though we know something is not good for us we stay. It could be that we are scared and we don’t want to venture outside the norm. I get that and I have been there, and there was one thing that I learn. Never stay in a situation that you are not happy in. It will only tear you down in the end. There are so many opportunities that you are passing up living in your cocoon. Be a butterfly and break out of the shell and live your life. Let people see just how beautiful you are, when you spread your wings and fly.
